The difference is that the Interactive Schedule allows you to place the information directly on your drawings and edit element parameters in the Schedule.
Listing creates a list of the same elements and parameters, but is in a plain text format and does not allow the same bi-directional editing.
The benefit of Listing is that it can tie to an external database system and allow much more detailed reports such as quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
