It has been reported to us that in Outlook 2002, it is not possible to attach ArchiCAD Education Version Module files (.MDE extension) to an e-mail message. Outlook will simply refuse to do it. The reason for this is because this is the extension for Microsoft Access MDE Database files as well. So Outlook 'thinks' it is dealing with such a file and so refuses to handle it. The solution is to either compress it with a compression program or change its extension to something else (.ZZZ for example) and provide instructions for the receiver of the e-mail to change it back.
