This article helps you to create plot files so that you can send them to a plot-store or to control your settings by reopening them in PlotMaker:
Plotting from the File menu
In case saving several .PLT files see Plotting from Publisher.
Save your View from the appropriate View Set in ArchiCAD as *.PLN or as *.PMK file.
Open PlotMaker, create a new Layout Book, or open an existing one.
Create a New Layout and choose its Master Layout in Layout Settings (e.g. Master A2 Landscape)
Import your *.PLN or *.PMK and place it on the Layout.
Go to File menu > Plot > and here click on Plot Setup.
Choose from the pop-up on the top left the "Hewlett-Packard" and the "HP DesignJet 650C" or "HP DesignJet 750C" or "HP DesignJet 1050C" from the pop-up below.

- If you save your file you can copy it onto a data carrier and get it plotted at the plot store.
Publishing with Publisher
When you want to save more Layouts as PLT we advise working with Publisher. (File menu > Publisher > Publish…) To publish the PLTs under the name of the Layouts you should
set in the „View Set Publishing Properties“ the Publishing method to Plot,
by using Plot Setup you can set the Plotter and paper size as mentioned above,
here you can select a Spool Folder as well,
finally click on Publish button.
Check your Plot file
go to File menu > Open…
set the file type to HPGL File (*.plt) and choose the just saved *.PLT.
- Open it and controll its settings.
