Usually, when one publishes a set from the Publisher using the Amyuni PDF Converter, during publishing the PDF converter program will prompt for the name of each destination PDF file. This is something that contradicts the philosophy of the Publisher, which is that after one sets all publishing properties of sets, he can publish all of them with one click.
The name of each published PDF file is controlled from the Properties Dialog of the Amyuni PDF driver. Its Destination Tab Page has these options, which, when correctly set, will enable one to publish to PDF without file naming problems.
In the 'Destination file' field, one can set how the name of the Destination file should be created by the PDF driver. Depending on this selection, the next two fields are either taken into account or they are not.

In the 'Overwrite option' field one can select how the PDF driver should behave when the destination PDF file already exists. The possible choices are:
- Overwrite without asking - the PDF file will be simply overwritten without any warning from the driver program.
- Confirm before overwriting - before overwriting an existing PDF file, the driver program asks for the user to confirm that he indeed wishes to overwrite the file.
- Append to existing file - the contents of the existing file are preserved, and new data is appended to the end of the PDF file.
- Add date-time to file name - a series of numbers are appended to the end of the existing file's name to create the new file name to be saved under (e.g. Ground Floor.pdf is the existing file, the new file becomes Ground Floor120703162550.pdf, which shows that the file was saved on the 12tth of July 2003, at 16:25:50.)
- Add ID number to file name - an automatically incremented number is appended to the end of the existing file's name to create the new file name to be saved under (e.g. Ground Floor1.pdf will be the name of the file just saved with this option if Ground Floor.pdf already exists.)
Examples:
- Destination file: Prompt for file name: PDF files will be created in the directory specified in the Default directory field. An Output File Name Dialog will pop up for each individual published view. This can be time consuming in case of sets containing a large number of views.
- As in illustration above: Destination file is predefined by user, which means that all views will be saved under the exact same file name. (C:PDFsTest Project.pdf in the example). The value entered in the 'Default directory' filed is ignored. When using this predefined option, one should choose one of the last three options in the 'Overwrite option' field. With the last two options one will have separate PDF files for each view (Ground Floor1.pdf, Ground Floor2.pdf and so on). With the 'Append to existing file' option, one will have one PDF file containing all published drawings. Note that in such a case, one should make sure to delete any file existing with such a name as otherwise it will contain earlier published PDF data at its beginning.
Note: As of now, pages are published in random order, so one might not necessarily have 2. Story after 1. Story in the resulting PDF file.
