On the Options Tab Page of the Tools\Interior Elevation\Settings... Dialog, there is a field named 'Layer Set used for Interior Elevation'. The value selected for this field will not be retained by the Add-On after exiting the Dialog by clicking the OK button.
On the other hand, if a Layer Combination is selected in Options\Layers\Layer Settings..., this layer combination will be selected in the above mentioned field in the Settings Dialog of Interior Elevation. This is actually the workaround for setting the Layer Combination for Interior Elevations to its desired value.
