Issue
In case of opening Layouts created in PlotMaker versions prior to version 3, if the Layout/ Drawings contains vectorial fonts, these will be displayed using other fonts.
Cause
The reason is because vectorial fonts are no longer supported in PlotMaker 3 and later. Using font substitutions for plotting is still possible. However, this is not a complete solution because vectorial fonts can be stretched or compressed (shortened) horizontally, a feature not available with normal fonts. Therefore the output will be different from that of the older version. This has been a design decision in PlotMaker as these vectorial fonts are very rarely used these days.
Solution
A workaround for this problem is to open the file containing the vectorial font in PlotMaker 2.3, plot it to a file (a *.PLT file is created), then placed this PLT file on a PlotMaker 3 Layout. This way the geometry and look of vectorial texts will be retained.
