Issue
In case some lines are missing from a plotted Layout, please check to see if the following information will help you solve this problem. This problem arose in ArchiCAD 6.5. In ArchiCAD 7.0 it was fixed. However, it could still appear in case of Layouts created with PlotMaker 2.2 (ArchiCAD 6.5) version.
Cause
What happens is that part of the placed drawing gets clipped and this causes the data loss. The reason of it was that the frame of the placed drawing was stored twice: this data was part of the Layout data, and also the drawing's data. In certain special cases, these two were not the same and this caused the clipping of the drawing.
Solution
Two workarounds exist for the problem:
After a New&Reset, place the PMK drawing again and plot it. It will plot correctly.
- Select the placed drawing and move it just a little bit. After such an operating the coordinates of the frame are recalculated in both the Layout and the placed drawing and this fixes the problem.
Note: this problem does not occur with files created by PlotMaker 2.3 or later.
