Issue
If a Caption Object is selected to be used when creating a Construction Simulation animation (Calculate/Construction Simulation/Create Animation Dialog), the resulting movie file (*.MOV or *.AVI) can become all black.
Cause
The cause of this is that the display is set for 16-bit color depth. In such a case, there is a conversion error in ArchiCAD when it is trying to convert data from 32-bit to 16-bit to fit the current display resolution.
Solution
Workaround: Set your Display to 32-bit color depth (Start menu/Control Panel/Display, then click the Settings Tab Page and set 32-bit in the Color Depth field.
